


Dîlan Canan Çakir is a literary scholar and Feodor Lynen Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the University of Cambridge (Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics, German). Until December 2025, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Cluster of Excellence Temporal Communities: Doing Literature in a Global Perspective (Research Area 5: “Building Digital Communities”) at Freie Universität Berlin. She studied German Studies at the University of Stuttgart. Her doctoral dissertation, submitted in 2021, was published in 2024 under the title "Poetische Ökonomie im Drama. Einakter im 18. und frühen 19. Jahrhundert". Her research interests include German literature (18th to 21st century), activism and literature, dramatic theory, theater studies, game studies in relation to literary theory, and Digital Humanities.
