https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7751-8527Mário Gomes completed his doctorate at the Universities of Bonn and Florence with a dissertation on the interior monologue. In 2023, he undertook a postdoctoral research project at the University of Lisbon on the concept of the dispositif (Das Dispositiv: Genealogie eines Missverständnisses, Vienna: Turia + Kant, 2023). He has taught literature and media studies, aesthetics, and literary translation at several universities, including the University of Bonn, the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), Freie Universität Berlin, and the University of Concepción (Chile), where he served as a DAAD lecturer. His current research focuses on the materiality of literature, expanded literature, and the use of large language models in literary translation.
